Delete your Leafr account

Leafr is software from Leafr Technologies LLC that licensed cannabis and hemp businesses use to run orders, compliance and deliveries. This page explains how to delete your own Leafr account or your whole company's account, what gets erased, and the few records we have to keep.

Delete it in the app

Step 1: Sign in to Leafr: the app on your phone or tablet, or app.leafr.ai in a browser.
Step 2: Open Settings, then Sign-in & security.
Step 3: Scroll to Delete account and pick one of the two options below.

Delete my account

Removes just you. It happens right away and signs you out on every device. Your company's orders and records stay with your company.

If you're the company's only admin, make someone else an admin first, or delete the entire organization instead.

Delete the entire organization

Erases your whole company's data. Only the company owner can do this, and you type DELETE to confirm. Leafr locks for everyone straight away, and the data is permanently erased 30 days later. Until then, any admin can sign in and tap Cancel deletion.

Can't use the app? Email us

Email support@leafr.ai from the email address you sign in with. Put “Delete my Leafr account” in the subject, and say whether you want just your account deleted or your whole company.

To make sure the request is really yours, we only act on one sent from the email address on the account, and we reply to that address to confirm before anything is deleted. A request to delete a whole company has to come from its owner. Once it's confirmed, we delete the account the same way the app does and let you know when it's done.

What gets erased

Just your account

Your sign-in and profile, your sessions and any apps connected to your account, your driver-app sign-in, your devices' notification registrations, your conversations with the Leafr assistant and your personal AI notes, and your personal METRC key. Orders, customers and the activity log belong to your company and stay with it.

Your whole company

Once the 30 days are up: everything the company stored in Leafr. That includes orders, customers, products and inventory, deliveries and GPS route history, documents, photos and uploaded files, every team member's account, and the saved keys Leafr used to reach METRC, LeafLink, QuickBooks and other connected services.

What we keep, and for how long

When a company is deleted, a few records stay because the law or fraud prevention requires them. The company's name on them is replaced with “Deleted account”.

Billing records
Subscriptions, payments and refunds, and the price and terms your plan was sold on. Needed for tax and accounting.
Signed agreements
Credit agreements, and the record of who agreed to which terms and when.
Licence checks on orders
The dated record, with its PDF, of each buyer's licence status at the time you shipped to them.
Trial and offer use
A minimal record that your licence number, free trial and promo codes were already used, so they can't be claimed twice. The owner's email is kept only as a one-way fingerprint, never as the address.
Activity log
Who did what, and when. The details of what changed are erased; only the event remains.

How long: these records are kept after the rest of your data is erased, and are not deleted on a set schedule.

Backups: we keep backup copies of Leafr's database to recover from a disaster. Erased data leaves the daily backups within 30 days and the monthly backups within seven years, the period cannabis regulators such as Oklahoma's require delivery GPS records to be kept.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there: Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.

If your company pays Leafr by card, scheduling the company's deletion stops the subscription renewing. It runs to the end of the period already paid for, nothing is refunded, and it's cancelled for good when the data is erased. Cancel the deletion in time and renewal turns back on.
